A/Prof Konstantin Yastrebov

Dr Konstantin Yastrebov is an Associate Professor with the University of New South Wales and a Senior Staff Specialist in Intensive Care at Prince of Wales Hospital. He has over 30 years’ practical experience in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine, and over 20 years’ experience in critical care echocardiography (CCE) completing PhD in CCE in 1998. He served as a Steering Committee member to the Postgraduate Diploma in Perioperative and Critical Care Echocardiography of The University of Melbourne, as a Director of Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society, and as an Inaugural Chair of the Ultrasound Special Interest Group of the Australian and New Zealand College of Intensive Care Medicine. He is an author of several books, chapters and multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers. Dr Yastrebov was privileged to join Invited Visiting Professor faculties around the World and to present on innumerous training and scientific meetings. His current research interests include assessment of volume status with echocardiography and the role of intracardiac 3D echocardiography in CCE.
