Dr James Christie

Dr James Christie trained in Radiology at Westmead Hospital Sydney and then underwent fellowship training in Paediatric Radiology and MRI at The Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children Sydney and then at  The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto.  

James has worked in a mixture of public and private settings since then and is currently in practice at The Childrens Hospital Westmead and North Shore Radiology.

He has been involved in performing and interpreting fetal MRI since the late 1990s and currently supplies the service for many of the Materno-fetal specialists in Sydney and NSW.

Fetal MRI

My presentation will provide a brief overview of the role and limitations of fetal MRI in assessment of fetal brain, attempting as much as possible to correlate the MRI findings with the ultrasound.
